On July 7, 2020, Attorney Robert Murphy spoke at the webinar “Legal Triage- Consumer and Tenant Protections in the COVID-19 Pandemic” sponsored by the Public Interest Section of the Florida Bar. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused widespread disruption in the daily lives of millions of people worldwide, and the hardest hit are working people who have few financial resources to fall back when their jobs have been lost. Attorney Murphy provided his colleagues a detailed analysis of the federal and state protections for consumers during the pandemic.
